Well done to the Asdee Active Retired for the launch of their book ‘Memories of that place we call home’.
Great credit to the organising committee of Tony Hanlon, Mairead Hanlon, Anne Linnane Kealy, Marion Moriarty, Muiris O’Laoire, & to everyone who contributed to the publication.
It was launched on Sunday afternoon in the Listowel Arms Hotel by Bishop Willie Walsh & hosted by Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh, with a variety of people providing entertainment during the proceedings.
The book is available in John Pius Walsh’s, Heaphy’s Centra, Woulfe’s Bookshop & Super Valu in Listowel.
I’m really keen to purchase a copy of your Memories of that place we call home book. My mum was Kathleen Hanlon born in Asdee East and I wondered if I’m related to the two Hanlon’s on the committee. I’m a cousin of Christy Hanlon still on the farm of my Uncle Ned, Edward Hanlon.
Please let me know how to purchase one of these books. I live in the U.K.
Thanks,
Ken Duckett
