We would like to say a massive thanks to Jimmy O’Carroll for his fantastic work in sandblasting the village grotto. It has made a huge difference, bringing out the colour in the stone & making the area much more eye-catching.
The work is part of a larger project to create an attractive public space in the village, which will be added to further as the country opens up in the coming months.
None of this would be possible without the grant funding from Kerry County Council, through the Community Enhancement Programme. We would like to thank them sincerely for their help in bringing this project to fruition.
Here are a few photos of the work, with before & after shots to highlight the progress being made.
