In the Footsteps of Fr Pat Moore

For our first video archive, we have footage from the Frank Lewis Show which was shot in July 2017 when he traced the footsteps of Fr Pat Moore around Asdee & learned the history of the area, along with some entertaining stories along the way.

The first clip is the start of the show, where Donal Kennedy gives a brief history of The Buildings in Tullahinell, Dan McNamara speaks about The Buildings during The Civil War, & Donie O’Keeffe speaks about a historic broach being discovered.

In the second clip, Joe Dee speaks about Jesse James, before Paddy Kennelly tells a brilliant story of his days as Principal in Asdee National School, & Joe Dee then speaks about Fr Moore’s ordination.

The third video sees Dan Foley, Tommy O’Carroll & Sean Breen play the Kerry Polka.
