A huge well done to Kieran Kelly for organising the second Walk for Recovery this morning, raising funds for The Grove in Ardfert. This weekend marks the second anniversary of Kieran going into The Grove & he deserves massive credit for the transformation he has made, it’s an inspiration to many.
Despite the uncertain weather, there was a great turnout & fair play to everyone who took part. There was a few warm showers needed after, but it was all for a very worthy cause.
The total raised was an excellent €1470.77. We have shared Kieran’s post below thanking everyone who took part or helped in the build-up to the walk. Everyone enjoyed a cup of tea & some lovely cupcakes, sandwiches & scones afterwards.
