The second part of our video series of Radio Kerry’s Frank Lewis following In The Footsteps of Fr Pat Moore takes us to the Fairy Fort near Fr Pat’s house, Littor Strand, and St Eoin’s Holy Well.
The first clip sees Paddy McElligott, Mary Fagan, and Donie O’Keeffe share entertaining stories about Fr Pat while standing in the ring fort close to Fr Pat’s house.
The second clip takes us to St Eoin’s Well where Tom Breen shares a story about the well, Lorraine McElligott shares a story about Scattery Island, and Bill Hannon shares a number of interesting stories.
The third and fourth clips are down on Littor Strand, where Dave Griffin speaks of the wildlife along the Estuary, Tom O’Connor has stories of life in the past along the shore, and Mairead Doyle does a recitation. Apologies for the slight inconvenience with the sound at times, but it was fairly windy down there.
